HERE IT IS! The REVEAL of the
SURPRISE RIDE for the Family Sensory Picnic
AE Hot Air Balloon Flights, LLC will be TETHERING their
hot air balloon in the parking lot field at
the picnic. This ride will be available
from 2-4 pm. WEATHER PERMITTING.
Each family MUST sign a release form before
taking the tethered balloon ride. You can
choose how high to go. You can go up to 80
ft. We will provide sound sensitive
headphones for those who cannot handle the
sound of the fire being released (about 5-8
seconds).
Parents MUST accompany all of their children
who want to ride. If the child with ASD and
siblings do not want to go up with the
parents/siblings, we are providing a giant
balloon on the ground to play in, with
qualified volunteers to watch them. They
must stay there until the parents are done
with the ride.
ONE ride per family member ONLY.
REMEMBER this is weather
permitting so if it is windy/rain
threatening or any thunderstorm threats,
this ride will NOT be available. PRAY FOR A
PERFECT WEATHER DAY! |
